THE WEATHER TODAY
The weather during this week will be characterized by a very varied westerly flow, which will repeatedly bring low pressure and heavy precipitation. The heaviest precipitation is expected at the beginning of the week. And with the temporary wind shift to the northwest on Tuesday, the snow line will drop back down to low-lying valleys. This means that the weather will remain very wintry and the wind generally strong. Towards Wednesday, the flow will shift back to the west and steer the next warm front in our direction. With heavy cloud cover, there will be light to moderate precipitation during the day. The snow line will slowly rise to 1500 meters above sea level. However, with the subsequent cold front on Thursday, it will drop again to around 1100 meters above sea level and the precipitation will become heavier. A slight improvement is still expected for Friday. Morning disturbances will dissipate, and the sun will prevail for some time. However, the next deterioration in weather is already forecast for the weekend, with significantly milder temperatures and the snow line rising to 2000 meters above sea level.
