THE WEATHER TODAY
Over the Easter holidays, the weather will be mainly fine, dry and pleasantly warm for the time of year. There will be just a few thin, high cirrus clouds accompanying the sunshine on Easter Sunday. These mark a further rise in temperature at higher altitudes, with the frost line settling at 3,000 metres above sea level. We will still see the clouds of a very weak cold front passing through on Easter Monday morning. By the afternoon, however, the sun will once again take charge of the weather. We can look forward to spring weather at its best from Tuesday to Thursday. Tuesday and Wednesday promise pure sunshine under a cloudless sky. A few larger clouds with a very slight chance of showers may join the sun on Thursday.
