THE WEATHER TODAY
High-pressure conditions will continue to dominate our weather this coming week. During the first half of the week, cooler air will flow in over the mountains on the back of a fairly brisk north-westerly wind, meaning that temperatures will generally become a little more autumnal. For us, this will mainly mean cooler nights, whilst during the day the abundant sunshine will continue to ensure fairly mild temperatures. Furthermore, a marked drop in temperature is generally not on the cards here over the coming days. The air will remain dry, with the fine weather disturbed at most by a few harmless clouds from time to time. All in all, we can certainly speak of an extension of the Indian summer, especially as it is set to become significantly warmer again by next weekend.
